Includes about 3500 bills, deeds, and legal papers, and 65 volumes of minute books and various account books for the Van Nuys Water Co., Owensmouth Water Co., Suburban Homes Co., Security Land and Loan Co., Corcoran Land Co., Corcoran Realty Co., Waukena Development Co., Los Angeles Suburban Home Co., Angiola Development Co., and H.J. Whitley Land Co., and records relating to Rancho Los Feliz. Papers relate to real estate development in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo Co., Corcoran in Kings County, LA, Hollywood, Westwood, Van Nuys, and the San Fernando Valley. Also includes a manuscript biography of Whitley by his wife.
